With the shift raw data filter you may add (or subtract) a fixed value from raw data. For example in cases where you penetrate a very soft soil and raw cone tip values are close to zero, most probably the interpretation will fail. Shifting qc to a larger value can help the interpretation processes.

The software will monitor the changes made so that you can revert to the original values simply by entering the appropriate cumulative change.
